Abstract

The invention provides a novel system and method for cleaning slurry on a net. The system comprises a first pipeline, a second pipe line, a water tank, a main pipeline and a settling pond, wherein the first pipeline, the second pipeline and the water tank are respectively connected with the main pipeline, the main pipeline is connected with the settling pond, a slurry connecting pipe is arranged at the upper part of the settling pond and is as high as an overflow pipe on the water tank, a slurry distributer is arranged in the settling pond, and the main pipeline is connected with the slurry distributer. The method comprises the following steps of: diluting 3-3.5% thick slurry which is from the pipelines and 0.501% return slurry which is from the pipelines by using water from the external water tank, and sending the diluted slurry into the settling pond; distributing the slurry by using the slurry distributer; slowly sending the slurry flow upward till the slurry flow reaches the slurry collecting pipe, then sending the slurry flow into a slurry flushing pump and pumping the slurry flow to a front screen, and then sending the screened slurry flow to a headbox; and since heavier impurities slowly fall down and precipitate on the bottom of the settling pond, washing with water and finally discharging to the outside.
