Abstract

The invention discloses a stereoscopic vision dice point identification system and method in uncontrolled environments. In the invention, multiple cameras are used for executing automatic dice point identification in uncontrolled open environments, and the stereoscopic vision dice point identification system is obviously different from other dice point identification systems which utilize a single camera for executing dice point identification in closed control environments. The stereoscopic vision dice point identification system has two obvious differences from the other dice point identification systems: (1) general dice point identification systems utilize a single camera for acquiring plane images for identification, but the stereoscopic vision dice point identification system utilizes multiple cameras for acquiring stereoscopic images for identification; and (2) the dice point identification system disclosed by the invention is designed in uncontrolled open environments, can be applied to game tables of general game places, and can execute dice point identification without replacing the original dice, dice cup and other related components.
