The method comprises the following steps of: (1) carrying out normalization processing on cycle times of the current storage battery to obtain a cycle time index cyc of the storage battery; carrying out normalization processing on use length of the current storage battery to obtain a use length index len of the storage battery; and carrying out normalization processing on the actual capacity of the current storage battery to obtain an actual capacity index cap of the storage battery; (2) adding the cycle time index cyc, the use length index len and the actual capacity index cap of the storage battery according to respective weight to obtain an SOH index; (3) performing early warning when the SOH is lower than an SOH early warning threshold value, and warning the battery to be scrapped at the moment.
