Abstract

An electromagnetic valve for a train tail device comprises an electromagnetic valve cavity, an air inlet pipe, a pilot mechanism and at least two spools, wherein the air inlet pipe and the pilot mechanism are mounted on the electromagnetic valve cavity, and the spools are mounted in the electromagnetic valve cavity. The pilot mechanism comprises a pilot valve and an electromagnetic coil acting to the pilot valve, and each spool comprises a piston and a valve. The electromagnetic coil can drive the pilot valve to be switched on, so that air from the air inlet pipe can enter the electromagnetic valve cavity and drive the spools to act. By the aid of the at least two spools arranged in the electromagnetic valve cavity, when one of the spools cannot act due to faults, the other one can be switched on and off normally, and thereby air exhaust can be realized and the requirements of emergency brake of a train can be met.
