The invention further provides a method for optimizing the extracting process of the dendrobium candidum polysaccharides by a response surface method, and the method comprises the following steps: setting three variables: a ratio of liquid to material of the dendrobium candidum to the water, extracting temperature and extracting time; and optimizing by utilizing a design expert software according to a Box-Behnken design principle.
