The water faucet comprises a main body, a main body shell, a handle arranged on the main body, and an automatic reset time-delay device which is arranged in the main body shell and is connected with the handle, wherein the automatic reset time-delay device comprises a transmission rod connected with the handle, a valve rod connected with the transmission rod, a damper connected with the valve rod, a spring sleeved on the transmission rod, and a water sealing sheet arranged at a driven end of the valve rod; a water inlet passage, a water outlet passage and a water guide stand are also arranged in the main body; a water guide outlet of the water guide stand is communicated with the water outlet passage; and the water sealing sheet is arranged between the water inlet passage and a water guide inlet of the water guide stand. The structure of the water faucet can achieve the aim of manual opening or closing, or automatic closing when the faucet is forgotten to be closed; and the handle synchronously returns to the original position along with the closing time, so that a function of automatic reset is realized.
