According to the invention, it is essential that a tube-shaped dome (13) is provided on the filter housing crucible (2), the dome engaging with an inner chamber (6) of the ring filter element (5) when the filter device (1) is assembled, and that a guide contour (14) is provided at a free end of the tube-shaped dome (13), the contour cooperating with a guide element (15) arranged on the ring filter element (5).
