The calibration method for the waist line of the underground long-distance tunnel of the mine comprises the following steps of: (1) accurately measuring a top plate and a bottom plate of the existing tunnel, drawing a cross-section design chart of the tunnel, marking cross sections at each point of gradient change of the tunnel in the design chart by A, B, C, D... until a cross section at the end of the tunnel, and designing a bottoming slope and a horizontal distance for each section of the tunnel, and bottoming thickness of each of the cross sections of the tunnel; and (2) calibrating points of the two waist lines of the tunnel on site.
