Abstract

According to the method, a protection device with the inner diameter equal to the outer diameter of a concrete rod and being provided with upper and lower seal rings is adopted to isolate the corrosive damage from corrosive gases of all kinds outside, ultraviolet as well as frost and rain water to the weld joints and the metal at the heat affected zone of the weld joints of the power transmission line concrete rod so as to improve the corrosion resistance of the concrete rod. The method has an obvious effect of preventing the corrosions at the weld joints and the metal at the heat affected zones of the weld joints of the power transmission line concrete rod, and can effectively prevent power failure in large area caused by collapse of the power transmission line concrete rod due to the cracking of the concrete rod caused by corrosion of the weld joints. Therefore, the method can improve the production safety level of power transmission and distribution.
