[0021] overview
[0022] The popularity of devices employing wireless communication continues to increase. Accordingly, conventional techniques used to provide wireless communications may be faced with an increasing amount of interference between these devices, which may limit the usefulness of the communications techniques.
[0023] Wireless communication techniques are described. In one or more implementations, techniques are described that involve active power control so that devices can bypass and disable power amplifiers to communicate wirelessly. These techniques may be employed by short- and medium-range direct and indirect communications such as, but not limited to, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (eg, IEEE 802.11), Wi-Max, etc. In this way, the power consumption of the device can be reduced in cases where the use of power amplifiers can be avoided, further discussion on this can be found at figure 2 and image 3 turn up.
