The cross-platform virtual computing resource management method can perform unified management on virtual resources under different virtual platforms and is composed of a uniform interface, a common object model and a computing resource adapter. The uniform interface defines a universal method for operating virtual computing resources, and the common object model defines a uniform object model of the virtual computing resources. The computing resource adapter performs adaption aiming at the different virtual platforms, and therefore the virtual computing resources of the different virtual platforms of a data center can be managed conveniently.
