The equipment specifically includes fingerprint acquisition cards, DSPs (digital signal processors), CPLD (complex programmable logic device) logic control chips, a voice chip, a loudspeaker, a liquid crystal display, a call button and data storage chips. The data storage includes SRAM data storage chips and FLASH chips. According to the method disclosed in the invention, when a passenger purchases a ticket at the window, the ticket seller can conduct matching according to the acquired fingerprint, and sells the ticket based on whether the matching is successful or not. During ticketing, the adverse effect brought by queue jumping of passengers for no reason can be effectively prevented, the ticketing efficiency can be enhanced, and the human environment of a ticket hall can be effectively improved.
