Embodiment Construction

[0045]In the method for upgrading the configuration file of the optical network unit in the GPON system provided by the present invention, the OLT conducts a basic check on the ONU to be upgraded by interacting with the ONU before upgrading, which can effectively avoid sending the wrong configuration file to the ONU As well as repeating the configuration of the ONU, thereby effectively improving the speed and reliability of configuring the ONU. The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0046] Such as figure 1 Shown, the method for optical network unit configuration file upgrade in GPON system comprises the following steps:

[0047] Step A1, the OLT interacts with the online ONU through the OMCI channel in turn to obtain the judgment result of whether the current ONU needs to be upgraded; if the judgment result shows that the current ONU does not need to be upgraded, then go to step A6; otherwise, go to step A2.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for upgrading a configuration file of an optical network unit in a GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) system. The method comprises the steps as follows: sending a request message of upgrading the configuration file to an optical network unit by an OLT (Optical Line Terminal) and determining if the configuration file is upgraded according to a response message of the current optical network unit by the OLT; if determining to upgrade the configuration file, transmitting the configuration file to the optical network unit by the OLT; after transmission of the configuration file is completed, carrying out CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) operation by the optical network unit; if passing the check, writing a FlASH by the optical network unit; and after writing the FlASH by the optical network unit, bringing the upgraded configuration file into effect, and reporting that the configuration file is successfully upgraded. According to the method, the OLT interacts with an ONU (Optical Network Unit) for basically checking the ONU to be upgraded before upgrading, so that the incorrect configuration file can be effectively prevented from being sent to the ONU, and the ONU is prevented from being repeatedly configured, thereby effectively increasing the speed of configuring the ONU, effectively improving the reliability of configuring the ONU and providing convenience for service providers to manage terminal users.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to GPON system management, in particular to a method for upgrading optical network unit configuration files in the GPON system. Background technique [0002] GPON (Gigabit-Capable Passive Optical Network) technology is a broadband passive optical integrated access standard based on the ITU-TG.984.x standard. The GPON system consists of OLT (OpticalLineTerminal, Optical Line Terminal) on the office side, ONT (OpticalNetworkTerminal, Optical Network Terminal) or ONU (OpticalNetworkUnit, Optical Network Unit) on the user side, and ODN (OpticalDistributionNetwork, Optical Distribution Network). The optical distribution network consists of a single-mode optical fiber (SMfiber) and a passive optical splitter (Splitter) for connecting OLT and ONU. [0003] The direction from OLT to ONT / ONU is the downlink direction, which adopts the data stream transmission mode sent by broadcast; otherwise, it is the uplink direction, which adopts the ...
