[0040] Systems, methods, devices, and computer program products are described for bundling feedback related to downlink transmissions on multiple component carriers (CCs). In some examples, a base station configures a multicarrier mobile device to use a different feedback bundling scheme when the mobile device is determined to be power limited, thereby reducing the amount of feedback data to be sent on the uplink CC. The bundling scheme selected for the mobile device may be based in part on one or more transmission modes of the downlink CCs. A binding scheme may include a combination of binding techniques and the order in which those techniques are applied. In particular, bundling techniques may include CC bundling, where ACK / NACK feedback is bundled across component carriers in conjunction with spatial bundling and / or feedback repetition. For efficiency and performance, the bonding scheme can apply CC bonding before using feedback repetition.
