Abstract

The invention provides a novel snow melter which structurally comprises an upper insulating layer, a lower insulating layer and an infrared heating body arranged between the upper insulating layer and the lower insulating layer, wherein the infrared heating body comprises a heating main body and an insulating layer coated outside the heating main body; and the middle parts of the upper and lower insulating layers are respectively provided with a metal layer. The novel snow melter is mainly paved on a roof and used for melting accumulated snow so as to prevent the occurrence of a building collapse problem.
