Abstract

The invention provides a deploying method and system for an HTTPS (Secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol) certificate based on a content distribution network. The method comprises the following steps of: encrypting the certificate and a private key to generate an encryption packet; storing the encryption packet by a CDN (Content Distribution Network) platform and verifying the availability of the certificate and the private key in the encryption packet; and if the certificate and the private key in the encryption packet are available, automatically deploying the encryption packet to the fringe nodes of the CDN by the CDN platform. The security risks of enterprises and CDN service providers can be reduced, and the manual cost of the CDN service providers is beneficially saved.
