Example Embodiment

[0059] The technical solutions of the present invention are further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments of the description. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are only used to explain the present invention, but not to limit the present invention.

[0060] refer to figure 1 , figure 1 is the main function module diagram in the home gateway; such as figure 1 As shown, the home gateway mainly includes: an IP device management module 10, a DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server, dynamic domain name service) client 20, an IPv6 address and prefix information acquisition module 30, and a NAT64 (Network Address Translation of IPv6 and IPv4, IPv6 with IPv4 network address translation) module 40.

[0061] Specifically, in a preferred embodiment, the main responsibilities of the IP device management module 10 are: to allocate IPv4 private network addresses, gateways and other information to the network devi...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for an IPv6 host to have access to an IPv4 server. The method includes the steps that an access request carrying a first IPv6 massage is received; according to preset rules and a mapping relation table, the first IPv6 massage is translated into a first IPv4 massage of a preset format; a responding message, namely a second IPv4 massage, of an HNS4 is received, the second IPv4 massage is translated into a second IPv6 massage, and the second IPv6 massage is sent to an IPv6 host. The invention further discloses a system for the IPv6 host to have access to the IPv4 server. Through the method that in an HGW, the DDNS technology and the NAT64 technology are combined to work in coordination with relevant functional modules in the HGW, the beneficial effect of communication between a PND6 and an HNS4 is achieved, safety and convenience for having access to the HNS4 are improved, and experience of a user is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of network communication, in particular to a method and system for an IPv6 host to access an IPv4 server. Background technique [0002] With the development of Internet technologies such as home network and Internet of Things, it is more and more popular to remotely monitor the home environment outside the home. This is also an inevitable trend in the development of smart home networks. In an IP (Internet Protocol, Internet Protocol) network, an IP address is an important identifier of a network device. When the user is out, the remote network device communicates with the home network device, thereby realizing remote screen monitoring of the home environment, device remote control, etc. The essence of this process is the process of communication between network devices based on IP addresses. [0003] At present, with the increasing scale of the IPv4 (Internet Protocol Version 4, Internet Protocol Version 4)...
