[0014] For purposes of this disclosure, an information handling system may include any medium or collection of mediums operable to compute, sort, process, transmit, receive, retrieve, generate, convert, store, display, certify, detect, record, Copy, manipulate or exploit information, intelligence or data of any kind for commercial, scientific, control or other purposes. For example, an information handling system may be a personal computer, a network storage device, or any other suitable device and may vary in size, shape, performance, functionality, and price. An information handling system may include random access memory (RAM); one or more processing resources, such as a central processing unit (CPU) or hardware or software control logic; ROM and / or other types of nonvolatile memory. Additional components of the information handling system may include one or more disk drives, one or more network ports for communicating with external devices, and various input and output (I / ...

Abstract

According to the present disclosure, systems and methods for power delivery are presented. The power delivery system includes at least two power supplies with a bridge connecting each power supply output of the at least two power supplies. The bridge may be made of busbars, each busbar comprising an integral attachment point. Each attachment point may correspond to a post to which the shape of the attachment point has been specifically keyed. The terminal posts may be attached to wire cables that provide power from the power source to components within the information handling system. In some embodiments, each end of the wire cable may include a terminal post having the same shape to ensure proper voltage supply to the components of the information handling system.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates generally to the operation of computer systems and information handling systems, and more particularly to systems and methods for redundant and keyed power solutions. Background technique [0002] As the value and uses of information continue to grow, individuals and businesses seek other ways to process and store information. One solution available to these users is an information handling system. An information handling system typically processes, compiles, stores, and / or transmits information or data for business, personal, or other purposes of communication, thereby allowing users to take advantage of the value of the information. Because technology and information processing needs and requirements vary from one user or application to another, an information handling system may vary with respect to: types of information processed; methods used to process information; methods used to process, store or transmit informa...
