The vehicle internet assisting downloading method is provided according to the characteristics that the vehicle speed change rate is low in a highway environment, and vehicles travel in the opposite direction or in the same direction. A vehicle-mounted user is connected to the internet in an AP communication area in a Wi-Fi mode, besides the AP communication area, an AP selects a group of assisting vehicles which can meet a target vehicle in different times and placed in a blind area to carry the needed data of the target vehicle according to factors such as the traveling speed of the target vehicle, the data are forwarded to the target vehicle in the meeting process, therefore, the transmission conflict rate is effectively lowered, and the downloaded data amount of the user is improved.
