Abstract

The invention provides a contact structure which can solve a problem of soft solder wicking and can reliably performing soldering on the contact. The contact is provided with a base portion, an arm portion extending from a side of the base portion, and a soldering fixing portion extending from the other side of the base portion. The contact is provided with a contact portion which is covered by a banding area and occupies a part of the contact. The banding area is in a straight line shape which goes across a part of the contact, and width of the area is roughly fixed. The banding area is near a junction portion of the arm portion and the base portion, and comprises an intermediate portion between a free end of the extending side of the soldering fixing portion and an edge on the opposite side of the extending side of the base portion. The soldering wettability of the contact portion is set to be lower than the soldering wettability of the contact portion which is not covered by the banding area.
