Abstract

The invention discloses a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) realizing method and device. The PaaS realizing method comprises the steps that a pool service processor of a database PaaS service processing engine obtains a user service request through an external database service interface; the pool service processor generates processing tasks according to the user service request, and the processing tasks are distributed to a resource pool dispatch module of a database PaaS processor; the resource pool dispatch module dispatches each database connection pool according to the obtained processing tasks and generates a processing result; the pool service processor obtains the processing result and returns the processing result to the database service interface. According to the PaaS realizing method and device, a plurality of relational database products, database living examples and the like are arranged as a database resource pool, the database resource pool serves as the platform, so that the database resource pool has various characteristics of a PaaS platform, such as multi-tenant, resource sharing, network access and resource elastic expansion.
