Abstract

A door weatherstrip for a motor vehicle includes a base portion attached to a door panel, a seal portion, and a stem. The sealing portion is provided to integrally extend from the base portion to closely contact a vehicle body panel and seal a gap between the vehicle door panel and the vehicle body panel when the vehicle door panel is closed. The stem is connected to the base portion and the sealing portion and is configured to hang at the vehicle body panel while closing the door panel such that the sealing portion rotates on the vehicle body panel.
