Abstract

By the use of the spool valve, a plurality of oilways can be switched and a length size of a valve plug on an axial direction (a sliding direction) can be shortened to some extent. The spool valve comprises a first oil passage (21) containing a first to a third hole port (A1 to A3) of an opening of a valve plug hole (10) and a second oil passage (22) containing a fourth to a sixth hole ports (B1 to B3), a first to a fourth oil grooves (31 to 34) circumferntially arranged of the same position in an axial direction where the valve plug (30) is on the external lateral surface (30c), a first communication path (36) in the vavle plug (30) and passing from the first oil groove (31) to the third oil groove (33) and a second communication path (37) in the vavle core and passing from the second oil groove (32) to the fourth oil groove (34).
