Abstract

The invention provides a crimping-type contact which is used for electrically connecting a plurality of conductive components including coated wires, and is capable of maintaining the electric connection more reliably. A crimping-type contact (2a) comprises: a crimping part (4), a first connection part (5), a contact point part (6), a second connection part (7) and a wire holding part (8). The crimping part (4) cuts a coating part (103) coating a wire (101a), and contacts with a core wire part (104) exposed at the cut coating part (103). The first connection part (5) integrates the crimping part (4) and the contact point part (6). The contact point part (6) contacts with an object side contact (102a) exposed in advance. The second connection part (7) integrates the wire holding part (8) and the crimping part (4).
