Abstract

The method relates to a method for closing a session in Internet, the method comprising: receiving, by a first device, information supporting session close control from a second device; and transmitting, by the first device, a session closing request to the second device to stop a stateful session, the statefull session comprising Websocket session between the first device and the second device. The method of the invention further includes closing Websocket connection between the first device and the second device after all stateful sessions are closed. The invention further provides a network device for executing the corresponding method.
