Abstract

The invention provides a novel flexible coupling of a small engine dynamometer, which consists of a positioning plate, a coupling bracket, a dynamometer connecting disc, a protective plate, rollers, spring protective covers and springs. The dynamometer connecting disc and the protective plate are in threaded connection; six grooves are formed in the outer surface periphery of the coupling bracket; the bottom surfaces of the grooves are eccentric circular arc surfaces, and are formed to inner and outer rolling ways of the rollers with the inner surface of the dynamometer connecting disc; and the rollers are evenly distributed in the grooves of the coupling bracket, and are frequently pressed to one narrower ends of the inner and outer rolling ways by spiral springs coated with the spring protective covers so as to tighten the inner and outer rolling ways. Three inclined chutes are formed in a disc, near a flywheel, of the coupling bracket; the end surface of the positioning plate is butted against an engine flywheel boss; and the coupling bracket is in threaded connection with the flywheel by the inclined chutes and the positioning plate.
