Provided are a method and device for processing a packet of transparent interconnection of lots of links (TRILL). The method is applicable to a TRILL network, and the TRILL network comprises at least three RBs. The method comprises: receiving, by a second RB, a first TRILL packet sent by a first RB, wherein the first RB is a transit routing bridge transit RB in the TRILL network, and the second RB is a last but one hop of the TRILL network; performing, by the second RB, TRILL encapsulation on the first TRILL packet, and acquiring a first user packet of the first TRILL packet; and sending, by the second RB, the first user packet to a third RB so that the third RB transits the first user packet to a first host which is interconnected with the third RB, wherein the third RB is an egress routing bridge egress RB of the TRILL network.
