Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent electric energy meter working power supply provided with a short-circuit protection circuit. The working power supply comprises a power supply and multipath short circuit protection circuits. The power supply is provided with multipath power supply output terminals. Each power supply output terminal is connected to a corresponding load. Each short circuit protection circuit is arranged between each power supply output terminal and the corresponding load respectively. Each short circuit protection circuit comprises a starting circuit and a control circuit which are connected in parallel. The starting circuit is used for providing a work voltage for the load connected to the power supply when the power supply is electrified. The control circuit is used for disconnecting output of the power supply to the load when the load is in a short circuit state so that the power supply is prevented from damaging because of the short circuit and a purpose of protecting the power supply through the short circuit is realized. When the load in the short circuit state, the power supply providing the power supply output is prevented from generating short circuit damages so that a purpose of protecting the power supply is reached. After a short circuit fault is removed, the power supply circuit can be automatically recovered to a normal power supply state. The power supply possesses advantages of low cost and easy maintenance and possesses a good application prospect.
