Abstract

The invention discloses an interlocking device which is installed on a conveying device in a printer. The conveying device comprises a paper conveying roller, a transmission gear set, a first swing gear set and a second swing gear set. The first swing gear set and the second swing gear set can be engaged with the transmission gear set alternately to drive the paper conveying roller to rotate. The interlinking device comprises a base, a sliding plate and a swing part. The base is fixed to the conveying device. The sliding plate is installed on the base in a sliding manner. The swing part is installed on the base in a pivotal manner. The sliding plate can drive the swing part to rotate to position where the swing part abuts against and presses the first swing gear set when sliding, and therefore the first swing gear set can be separated from the transmission gear set. The sliding plate can drive the second swing gear set to rotate while sliding, and therefore the second swing gear set can be separated from the transmission gear set.
