Abstract

The invention relates to an edge data driven robustness-based face super-resolution processing method and system. The method includes the following steps that: S1: a training base is constructed; S2: a low-resolution face image to be processed and an image in the training base are divided into image blocks with overlapping parts through adopting same blocking mode; S3: corresponding edge constraint blocks are extracted from the image blocks in the low-resolution face image in the training base and the low-resolution face image to be processed; S4: a reconstruction coefficient of the image blocks in the low-resolution face image to be processed is generated; S5: the image blocks are recovered according to the reconstruction coefficient, so that high-resolution face image blocks corresponding to the image blocks are obtained; and S6: the high-resolution face image blocks are spliced. With the edge data driven robustness-based face super-resolution processing method and system of the invention adopted, the visual perception of the recovered image can be significantly improved.
