Abstract

The invention provides a channel priority adjustment method and a device for a router. The method comprises the steps of determining the corresponding service type of a data packet when the data packet is sent out by a client; according to the determined service type of the data packet, conducting the identification treatment to add a service type identifier to the data packet; sending the data packet with the service type identifier to the router, and adjusting the channel priority based on the service type identifier by means of the router. According to the technical scheme of the invention, different services can be distinguished and treated. Therefore, the network requirements of different-level services can be met during the network sharing process.
