Abstract

The invention provides a compressor and an air conditioner with the same. The compressor comprises a movable vortex part, a fixed vortex part matched with the movable vortex part to form a compression space, a pressure relief part arranged on the fixed vortex part for exhausting high-pressure gas in the compression space when overpressure is generated in the compression space, and a cover plate part arranged on the fixed vortex part and provided with a gas replenishing channel, wherein the pressure relief part is positioned between the cover plate part and the fixed vortex part. As the cover plate part is added on the fixed vortex part, the compressor has enough space inside for synchronously setting the pressure relief part and the gas replenishing channel. A mode of combining the pressure relief part with the gas replenishing channel is adopted to prevent over-compression of the compressor in the operation process; and the energy efficiency and the reliability of the compressor under limit working conditions are effectively improved.
