Abstract

The invention provides a connecting component for a flexible flat cable and a rotary connector device with same. The connecting component for the flexible flat cable is provided with a first cable connecting part, a second cable connecting part and a connecting part. The first cable connecting part is provided with a plurality of first busbars and a first mold parts for covering the plurality of busbars. The second cable connecting part is provided with a plurality of second busbars and a second mold part for covering the plurality of second busbars. Before the connecting part is bent, namely before welding, the welding surfaces of the first cable connecting part and the second cable connecting part are arranged at the same side of the connecting component. The connecting part connects the first cable connecting part with the second cable connecting part and can be bent for realizing overlapping between the first cable connecting part and the second cable connecting part. The connecting component is utilized in the rotary connector device with a plurality of flexible flat cables and can reduce time required in welding.
