specific Embodiment approach 1

[0041] Specific embodiment one: a kind of image mosaic method based on SURF algorithm described in this embodiment, the realization process of described method is:

[0042] Step 1: Use Matlab to drive the industrial camera, complete the calibration of the camera, and use the camera for video recording;

[0043] Step 2: Apply the gray world method to adjust the white balance of each frame of the recorded video;

[0044] Step 3: Apply the SURF algorithm to extract the feature points of the two photos recorded at the same time after the white balance adjustment;

[0045] Step 4: Apply the RANSAC algorithm to eliminate the mismatched feature point pairs of the two images with marked feature points;

[0046] Step 5: Using interpolation operations, the images processed by the RANSAC algorithm are stitched together to complete the image stitching and obtain an image with a larger viewing angle.

specific Embodiment

[0063] 1Because the Daheng industrial camera is different from the ordinary USB camera, we need to install the DirectX interface program first. After installing and registering the interface program, we can realize the control of various functions of the camera and the secondary development of the interface program.

[0064] 2 In order to obtain the accurate parameters of the camera, it is necessary to calibrate the camera. The specific steps are as follows: first, print a checkerboard calibration version and paste it on a horizontal surface; then, take several template images from different angles; then import the pictures into MATLAB, The corner points in the image are detected through the MATLAB program; finally, the internal parameters, external parameters and distortion coefficients of the camera are obtained.

[0065] The MATLAB in the present invention is serial, causing the start time of the two cameras to be different. Because we need to process photos at the same tim...

Abstract

The invention provides an image connection method based on a SURF algorithm, relating to the technical field of image processing. The problem of an unideal image connection processing effect caused by a low feature point extraction speed and low robustness in by using a SIFT algorithm and a Harris algorithms is solved. Matlab is applied to drive an industrial camera, and the calibration of a camera is completed so as to use the camera to carry out video recording. A gray world method is used to carry out white balance adjustment on each frame of image in a recorded video. The SURF algorithm is applied to carry out feature point extraction on two photos which are recorded at the same time after the white balance adjustment. A RANSAC algorithm is applied to carry out mismatching feature point pair removing on the two images whose feature points are marked. The interpolation is used, the images which are processed by the RANSAC algorithm are connected together, the image connection is completed, and an image with a larger viewing angle is obtained. The method is especially suitable for the image connection under an industrial camera platform.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an image splicing method and relates to the technical field of image processing. Background technique [0002] The existing image stitching methods generally use the SIFT algorithm and the Harris corner algorithm, but the feature point extraction speed is slow and the robustness is low when the SIFT algorithm and the Harris corner algorithm are used. Especially when there are scale transformations, perspective transformations, and illumination changes in the image, the effect of image stitching processing is not ideal. Contents of the invention [0003] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image mosaic method based on the SURF algorithm to solve the problem that the feature point extraction speed of the SIFT algorithm and the Harris corner algorithm is slow and the robustness is low, resulting in an unsatisfactory image mosaic processing effect. [0004] The technical scheme that the present invention takes ...
