The invention provides an image connection method based on a SURF algorithm, relating to the technical field of image processing. The problem of an unideal image connection processing effect caused by a low feature point extraction speed and low robustness in by using a SIFT algorithm and a Harris algorithms is solved. Matlab is applied to drive an industrial camera, and the calibration of a camera is completed so as to use the camera to carry out video recording. A gray world method is used to carry out white balance adjustment on each frame of image in a recorded video. The SURF algorithm is applied to carry out feature point extraction on two photos which are recorded at the same time after the white balance adjustment. A RANSAC algorithm is applied to carry out mismatching feature point pair removing on the two images whose feature points are marked. The interpolation is used, the images which are processed by the RANSAC algorithm are connected together, the image connection is completed, and an image with a larger viewing angle is obtained. The method is especially suitable for the image connection under an industrial camera platform.

According to the quick splicing method, the characteristic points of the remote sensing image of the unmanned aerial vehicle is coarsely extracted by means of the SURF algorithm firstly, and then the mis-extracted characteristic points are eliminated by means of a RANSAC algorithm. Finally accurate matching of the characteristic points and real-time splicing of the image are realized by means of the least square image matching algorithm. The least square image matching algorithm can realize a good splicing effect and high splicing efficiency, and furthermore can satisfy a requirement for real-time splicing. The longitudinal overlap degree of the to-be-spliced unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing image is larger than 60%, and the side overlap degree is larger than 30%. The quick splicing method has advantages of low calculation amount, high splicing effect, high splicing efficiency, high matching degree and effective realization of real-time image splicing.

The invention relates to an artifact-removing image splicing method based on image depth layering. The method comprises the following steps: according to a depth image clustering result, carrying out quantization processing on a depth image of an unspliced image to obtain a depth image mask; classifying the feature points matched with the sift algorithm based on the depth map mask, and calculating respective transformation matrixes of the feature points of different categories; and according to the depth map mask, carrying out depth layering on the spliced image to obtain images of different depth levels, transforming the images of different depth levels by using respective transformation matrixes, and carrying out superposition on the transformed images from deep to shallow according to the depth levels to obtain a final spliced image.

The embodiment of the invention discloses a panorama abutted seam detection method and device. The method comprises the steps: obtaining a preset number of local images and initial panorama depth images photographed by panorama photographing equipment; splicing the preset number of local images into a panorama based on the initial panorama depth images; extracting a line graph used for representing preset lines from the panorama; determining splicing lines in the line graph, wherein the splicing lines are corresponding to a boundary line between two adjacent local graphs in the panorama; determining the proportion of the number of pixels with different colors to the total number of pixels on the two sides of the splicing lines in each row of pixels on the two sides of the splicing lines; and in response to determining that the specific gravity meets a first preset condition, outputting information used for representing that the abutted seam in the panorama is too large. According to the embodiment of the invention, effective detection on the abutted seam in the panorama containing the three-dimensional information is realized, and the splicing effect of the panorama an be improvedaccording to the abutted seam detection result.
