A method for improving a data center network updating success rate provided by the present invention comprises the steps of detecting data streams on a congestion link of a candidate path, migrating a plurality of data streams from the congestion link, so that the new paths formed by the paths in which the migrated data streams are located before the migration can accommodate the new data streams, and the new data streams are transmitted in the new paths. How a feasible network state is searched does not need to be considered, so that an updating sequence does not need to be designed and executed carefully. By scheduling each new data stream locally, the feasible shortest paths are distributed for the new data streams, the updating efficiency is improved, and the migrated data traffic is reduced.
