The method comprises: a to-be-pushed message is obtained and a push attribute characteristic of the message is selected; training sample data are obtained according to data fed back based on a situation of message pushing to a pushed user; a model is trained by using the training sample data, thereby generating a model parameter; and according to a relevant attribute of the message and a relevant attribute of the to-be-pushed user, a push attribute characteristic parameter of the message is determined, the push attribute characteristic parameter of the message and the model parameter are substituted into the model to obtain a probability of whether to push a message to the to-be-pushed user, and whether the message is pushed to the to-be-pushed user is determined based on the probability. According to the invention, the click data of the message by the pushed user are taken into consideration and the click data serves as an important factor reflecting whether the user is interested in the message; and with the pushing way, the message can be pushed to the user interested in the message precisely, so the push efficiency can be improved substantially.
