Abstract

The invention provides a continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum gas content prediction method and device and relates to the technical field of natural gas exploration. The method comprises the steps that logging data and a core sample of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum are obtained, and relevant parameters of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum are determined; then the total organic carbon volume fraction, the effective porosity, the water saturation, the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum temperature and the pore pressure of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum are determined; then the adsorbed gas quantity of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum is determined according to an adsorbed gas quantity prediction model of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum; the free gas quantity of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum is determined according to a free gas quantity prediction model of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum; and accordingly the total gas content of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum is determined according to the adsorbed gas quantity of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum and the free gas quantity of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum. By the adoption of the continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum gas content prediction method and device, the problem that in the prior art, various factors affecting the adsorption capacity of shale are not sufficiently considered, and accordingly the current continental facies clay shale reservoir stratum gas content prediction is inaccurate can be solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of natural gas exploration, in particular to a method and device for predicting the gas content of continental mud shale reservoirs. Background technique [0002] The gas content of shale reservoirs refers to the sum of the natural gas contained in each ton of rock converted to the standard temperature and pressure conditions. It is one of the important parameters for the economical exploitation of shale gas reservoirs. Gas volume can provide an important basis for shale resource evaluation, “sweet spot” prediction and production calculation. Generally, shale mainly contains gas including free gas, adsorbed gas and dissolved gas. Here, we mainly focus on free and adsorbed gases. Free gas refers to natural gas that exists in pores and micro-cracks in a free state; adsorbed gas refers to natural gas adsorbed on the surface of organic matter and clay. [0003] At present, the methods for determining the gas ...
