nitrogen charging
system for a dry
quenching furnace and a control method, belonging to the field of dry
quenching furnace gas detection. The emergency
nitrogen charging
system comprises the dry
quenching furnace, a gas circulation detection device, a
nitrogen supply device and a dry quenching control
station DCS. The control method comprises the following steps: judging whether a
combustible gas concentration exceeds a standard or not; under the condition that the
combustible gas concentration exceeds the standard, controlling the opening degree of an air regulating valve according to a gas temperature, judging a standard exceeding grade, starting the emergency nitrogen charging
system, and judging whether an emergency
troubleshooting program is started or not; under the condition that the concentration does not exceed the standard, judging the change speed of the concentration; and under the condition that the concentration is rapidly increased, starting the emergency nitrogen charging system, or under the condition that the concentration change speed is stable, closing the nitrogen regulating valve, judging the
nitrogen pressure of a nitrogen
buffer tank and adjusting the opening degrees of a
pipe network nitrogen adjusting valve and a standby nitrogen adjusting valve so as to guarantee sufficient supply of accident nitrogen. According to the invention, nitrogen is charged in advance in a
combustible gas concentration rising period to prevent the concentration from exceeding the standard; and after the concentration exceeds the standard, nitrogen charging adjustment is automatically conducted on the dry quenching furnace in a graded mode.
