Abstract

The invention provides a message processing method and a message processing device. The method is applied to a network device on which an SSL VPN tunnel is established via a preset well-known port that is the register port of an L2TP. The method comprises the steps of when receiving a business message via the preset well-known port, determining the message type of the business message, wherein the message types comprise an L2TP type and an SSL VPN type; according to the message type, storing the business message into a Socket queue corresponding to the message type; and calling a processing progress corresponding to the Socket queue to carry out business processing on the business message in the Socket queue. With the application of the above embodiment, the SSL VPN and L2TP can share one well-known port, the SSL VPN type message is prevented from being filtered by the network device, so that the SSL VPN type message can enter the corresponding processing progress, and thus the SSL VPN type message is processed, and the user experience is enhanced.
