Abstract

The invention discloses a method for simulation computation of effective coverage of a remote sensing satellite with consideration of regional scales. The method comprises the steps that firstly, effective coverage performance indexes of remote sensing earth observation is designed, wherein the design comprises design of a spatial coverage performance index, design of a time coverage performance index and design of a physics coverage performance index; and then the simulation computation of the effective coverage of the remote sensing satellite is carried out under the different regional scales with comprehensive consideration of physics performance constraint conditions and weather constraint conditions of the remote sensing satellite, wherein the simulation computation comprises simulation computation of the earth observation effective coverage of the satellite in small-scale regions, simulation computation of the earth observation effective coverage of the satellite in middle-scale regions, and the simulation computation of the earth observation effective coverage of the satellite in large-scale regions.
