Abstract

The invention provides a novel graphitizing furnace, belonging to the technical field of graphite processing. The novel graphitizing furnace comprises a discharge cooling device, a feed pipe, a control device and a vertical furnace body, wherein the furnace body is provided with a hearth for containing a carbon material; the hearth comprises communicated heating hearth and insulating hearth; the furnace body is provided with an electrode pair which comprises an upper electrode and a lower electrode; the bottom end of the upper electrode is positioned at the top of the heating hearth, and the lower electrode is positioned at the bottom of the heating hearth; the feed pipe is mounted at the top of the furnace body; the control device is mounted in the furnace body and positioned in the heating hearth; the control device is used for controlling the opening size of the feed pipe; and the discharge cooling device is arranged at the bottom of the furnace body. In the novel graphitizing furnace provided by the invention, a control device is arranged at the top of the furnace body and controls the feed speed by controlling the opening size of the feed pipe at the joint with the heating hearth, and remarkably high graphitizing efficiency of the graphitizing furnace is guaranteed while continuous works can be realized.
