Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for updating an online map by using an unmanned vehicle. The method comprises one specific implementation method: a sensor mounted on the unmanned vehicle is used for scanning a road where the unmanned vehicle is located currently to acquire real-time road information; a map information acquisition request is sent to a backstage server of the online map, wherein the map information acquisition request includes position information of the unmanned vehicle; whether the real-time road information is consistent to map information returned by the backstage server is detected; in an inconsistent case, detected map distinguishing information is sent back. The implementation method can reduce the manual updating and maintaining workload required during map data change, and also greatly improves the efficiency of map data updating.
