The method is characterized in that an association function having nothing to do with factors like the mechanical precision and a horizontal drift of a piece of paper is employed; according to different moving directions of a quantitative scanning sensor, horizontal quantitative data are divided into ones with two kinds of directions from a driving side to an operating side and from the operating side to the driving side; recording is carried out to obtain different arrays; an association coefficient between data obtained in two directions is detected; translation of the data obtained in one direction to the left or right is carried out and an association coefficient between the data after translation and the data obtained in the other direction is detected; and according to the association coefficient, alignment information is determined.
