The application belongs to the technical field of insulating
paper manufacturing, and particularly relates to a high-temperature-resistant insulating paper and a preparation method thereof. The application uses different lengths of
polyester fibers as the main structure of the insulating paper, so that the
polyester short-
cut fibers form a main force network, the
polyester deposition fibers fill and bridge the inter-
fiber pores, the insulating paper forms a controlled
viscous flow welding in a non-melting state under a high-temperature environment, the flat strip shape of the polyester deposition fibers effectively fills the skeleton pores, and the residual pores are converted from a connected state to a
closed state, thereby significantly reducing the
porosity and local thickness deviation. The modified
alumina fibers and the fumed white
carbon black are mixed, and then the surface is modified by
dopamine to obtain an inorganic modified filler. The polydopamine
interface layer can enhance the bonding force between the filler and the polyester, so that the high-temperature-resistant insulating paper with uniform thickness, low
porosity and high interlayer bonding force is obtained, and the insulating paper used for the insulating layer of a
flexible cable can prevent the problem of
partial discharge caused by
moisture absorption of the insulating paper.
