This invention discloses a recyclable, high-stiffness cigarette liner paper and its processing method, belonging to the technical field of tobacco packaging materials. The liner paper of this invention adopts a symmetrical sandwich structure with a polymer mesh reinforcement layer between two cellulose base paper layers. The mesh is a warp and weft woven mesh of polylactic acid (PLA) with a Tg of 55-65℃ or polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with a Tg of 70-80℃, bonded together with a PVA adhesive of 85-95% degree of hydrolysis and 1700-2200 degree of polymerization, forming a water-triggered synergistic dissociation system. It is complemented by a two-stage coating and hot-pressing-curing process matching the Tg of the mesh. The product of this invention can meet the high stiffness requirements of high-speed cigarette packaging, is fully compatible with existing waste paper recycling processes, produces no secondary pollution, and is suitable for industrial-scale production.
