Abstract

An input assisting method, a touch screen display device, an input method for a measurement device and the measurement device are disclosed. An input assisting tool is displayed on a display screen. The input assisting tool includes a diagram, and a handle corresponding to at least a part of the diagram, and enables manipulation of the at least a part of the diagram. Each of the handles are arranged at a position separated from the respective at least a part of the diagram. A touch screen panel detects user operation of each handle, and reflects the operation in a movement of each part of the diagram.
