specific Embodiment approach

[0010] Bioconsolidation is a natural phenomenon in the process of microbial reproduction and metabolism, usually accompanied by complex biological and chemical processes. The main principle of this technology is that by injecting appropriate amount of nutrients and minerals into the underground soil, the bacterial activity in the underground soil or cracks is stimulated, causing them to reproduce in large numbers, producing carbonate ions, and at the same time accelerating the deposition of minerals in the water. This technology does not cause damage to the underground aquifer, nor does it produce toxic and harmful substances, is very environmentally friendly, and can save a lot of engineering investment. At present, this technology is mainly used for soil reinforcement or anti-seepage, and it is the first time that it is used for the storage of residual NAPL in fractured media. In this technology, the bacteria selected are Sporocarcina pasteurii. The reason why this bacteria ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a new technology used for biologically mothballing residual NAPL (non aqueous phase liquid) in fracture medium underground water. The technology is mainly characterized by hydrolyzing urea by utilizing microorganisms to generate carbonate ions and binding the carbonate ions and calcium ions to form calcium carbonate crystals, wherein according to the characteristics of water flow in fracture media, the calcium carbonate crystals are mainly distributed around the residual NAPL clumps to block diffusion of the residual NAPL clumps to water and dissolution of the residual NAPL clumps in water, thus rapidly reducing the concentration of the NAPL in the underground water. The technology is simple and convenient, can save plenty of project investment, does not destroy the underground water aquifers and is quite environment-friendly.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to groundwater pollution restoration technology. Background technique [0002] Groundwater is a precious water resource and energy, which is closely related to human life. In my country's groundwater resources, the ratio of groundwater in plains and basins, loose sediments, karst groundwater, and groundwater in fractured rock formations is generally 3:2:4, and groundwater in fractured rock formations is the most abundant groundwater resource. Among many pollution sources, the pollution level of non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL-NonAqueous Phase Liquid) compounds has surpassed that of heavy metals and has become a worldwide environmental problem. NAPL is a slightly water-soluble hydrocarbon that exists below the surface of the earth, and has high hazards of carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, and mutagenesis. After NAPL enters the aquifer, it is easily dispersed into tiny clumps and remains in them to form numerous pollution sources. ...
