The embodiment of the invention provides a method and system for uploading a file by scanning a graphic identifier. The method comprises the following steps: a graphic identifier generation step: carrying out encoding conversion according to URL information, unique identification ID of a to-be-uploaded page window and computer user information to obtain a unique graphic identifier, and displaying the unique graphic identifier on the to-be-uploaded page window; an uploading page generation step: analyzing a generated connection request according to the graphic identifier obtained by a mobile terminal by scanning, and sending an uploading page to the mobile terminal; an uploading step: receiving a file sent by the mobile terminal according to a user input instruction through the Internet, sending the file to a computer, and displaying the file on the to-be-uploaded page window; and a storage step: storing the file finally selected and confirmed by the user for uploading in the computer in a predetermined path of a server.
