The method comprises the steps of detecting a target progress of an application that is operated by a user currently; dynamically injecting a pre-stored interface element display code into the target process, so as to enable the target process to run the interface element display code to display interface element information corresponding to the target process to a screen reading application; acquiring the interface element information corresponding to the target process; invoking a word-to-voice engine in a terminal system so as to convert the interface element information corresponding to the target process into voice data; and outputting the voice data. Through adoption of the method, a problem that people with visual impairment cannot acquire complete interface element displayed in the user interface in the android system is solved.
